LL Baseball off to Hot Start

The Las Lomas baseball team is off to a hot start this season. They have won every single one of their games this season with an 8-0 record. They have scored a total of 90 runs this whole season and only allowed 21 runs. Their scores have been in the double digits 5 times, one time reaching 20 runs. They have been winning games by an average of 8.6 runs. The team is considered one of the best teams in California, as they are ranked the 29th best team in California by Maxpreps. The team is highlighted by star catcher Jack McCullar who has been batting with a .556 average. McCullar has committed to the University of Puget Sound to play baseball in college.

This season has been a big improvement from last season. At this point last season, the Knights had an 5-3 record and had only scored a total of 52 runs. The Knights are looking to make a deep run in the NCS playoff this year, since last year they were knocked out in the first round by Encinal. The knights next games are against St. Joseph Notre Dame, North Salem and Miramonte on Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday respectively.
