What to look forward to on Disney + in 2020

By Connor Mackle

Disney Plus started out strong with new shows such as Encore!, The Mandalorian and Marvel’s Hero Project, but what should we expect for this year? Starting off, we have the seventh season of the revived show The Clone Wars, which is projected to release around February 2020. Next we have Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a Marvel show taking place after Endgame. This is supposed to release in August of 2020, and takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The next show is similar to the previous one, but it takes place before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. This is a show that fills in the gap after Age of Ultron, and is rumored to follow Scarlet Witch and Vision. The next is a confirmed second season to an already popular Disney Plus original, the second season of The Mandalorian. The second season of this show is supposed to air in fall of 2020. Some more rumored shows are Lamp Life, High School Musical: The Musical The Series Season 2, Muppets Now and Lizzie McGuire. With so many shows and movies to choose from now and many more to come, Disney Plus is quickly becoming a large competitor in the streaming service market, and it’s good to know they are funding both new shows and second seasons.
