To celebrate Black History Month is to acknowledge a culture with an often times hidden history. In our spread, The Page staff attempts to do our share in bringing to light unknown historical knowledge of black Americans, their struggles, perspectives, accomplishments, and perseverance. Coverage includes features of unknown figures such as Josephine Baker and Malcom X to famous (and infamous) Meghan Markle, both historical and current discussions of this years theme, the black vote, and an impressive feature detailing how we the Las Lomas student body have contributed this February. The staff at The Page would like to thank the Black Student Union, Leadership, Ms. Miranda, and our advisor Mrs. Anders for helping Las Lomas celebrate Black History Month better than ever before.
