With nothing else to do in these troubling times, a lot of people have started binge watching TV shows and rewatching their favorite movies. Sadly for many, it feels like they are running out of things to watch, so here are some uplifting movies that you might have forgotten about or never seen.
- The Emperor’s New Groove
The Emperor’s New Groove was one of the last movies of Disney’s 2D era. This family film is a heartwarming experience and includes some of Disney’s most iconic characters like Emperor Cuzco, Yzma, and Kronk. If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely give it a try.
- Singin’ in the Rain
Singin’ in the Rain is one of the most famous films from Hollywood’s Golden Age, when actors weren’t just playing a character, they were putting on a show. Almost every person in this movie is a professional acrobat, dancer, or singer, offering one of the most happy and exciting experiences ever filmed.
- Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Those that are already familiar with Monty Python and the Holy Grail consider it to be a classic. It’s a hilarious spoof of the legendary tale of King Arthur that will never be forgotten by anyone who has seen it.
- The Green Book
The Green Book is essentially the definition of a feel good movie. The story follows two characters on opposite ends of society in 1960’s America. They form the most wholesome friendship you will ever find in this Hollywood feature film.
Rudy is easily one of the most iconic sports dramas ever made. The film is a heartwarming underdog story that almost anybody can relate to, and has an ending so wholesome that you will most likely cry tears of happiness.
