Quarantine Summer Horoscopes

It’s nearly time for online learning to end and an uncertain shelter in place summer to begin. No human may know what our future looks like, but the stars are as certain as ever; let the astrological signs guide you forward through the uncertainty that is life.

Aries (May 21-Apr 19):

Aries had both their ups and downs throughout shelter in place, their mindsets wavering between healthy and negative, and poisoned by outward influences, for example the news, families, or the pressure to stay at home. This summer, they will attempt to break free from these poisoning outward influences, unsuccessfully. Don’t give up, though, there’s still fun to be had this summer, but it’s necessary to capture a positive mindset first.

Taurus (Apr 20-May 20):

It is time for Taurus to get out of their moping, lazy, self pitying head. They need to take it one step at a time, and go on a 10 minute walk right after they’re  done feeling sorry about this horoscope. According to the astrological predictions, this is the only way they can start to better their situation. Go on a walk. Right now. No matter how hard it is. Once they start getting out they’ll start to feel better inside, and less claustrophobic, once they make that their goal for the first weeks of summer, start walking, biking, hiking, driving, just do it.

Gemini (May 21-Jun 20):

It has been extremely hard for Gemini during shelter in place, their creative brains thinking of every possible problem that COVID-19 could negatively affect in their lives and the people they love. This isn’t unusual, but it isn’t good for the psyche either. During the summertime, Gemini will take on a new project or two, or three. This will help them get their minds off of the current times and into something different.

Cancer (Jun 21-Jul 22):

Cancer has withdrawn inwardly during shelter in place, becoming even more sensitive and moody. During the summertime, it will be even harder for Cancer because time will no longer be filled with schoolwork and studying, yet there is still hope. They should take up art, if they haven’t done much before, and should still try it and not judge themself too harshly. If they’ve done art for a while, starting a new project will greatly help them with their moodiness and increase their happiness.

Leo (Jul 23-Aug 22):

Leo has struggled in  quarantine, with a greater amount of responsibility placed upon them. They are perfectly capable of handling this responsibility, but overall it has started to tire them out. At the beginning of summer, Leos will find themselves taking a break from responsibility and focusing on themselves, growing their aspirations and self positivity. After a while, this will get old, and they will begin to connect more with their friends and family.

Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22):

Despite extreme circumstances, Virgo has done pretty well throughout shelter in place. It has been tough, but Virgo’s naturally introverted mindset has made it easier. Don’t take this for granted, contact some friends and see how they’re doing because surprisingly these days, introverted individuals have the best mindsets. Their summer will be made better by starting to open up to people beyond their family.

Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22):

The naturally extroverted, goofy, and social Libra has struggled greatly during shelter in place, forced to put a stop to their normal social activities and routines. This summer, however, this will start to get easier when Libra starts a new project or renews interest in a forgotten hobby. It may feel like occupying wasted time, but trying something new this summer may help theirsocial habits may start to normalize.

Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21):

During this time, Scorpio has tried many different things to fill their time, but puzzles, school work, and screen time will not be enough to keep them happy and fulfilled during summer time, even though it usually is enough. Maybe Scorpio gets a part-time job, or starts a new book, but most likely Scorpio will revert to their same, boreing routines. Maybe they’ll think about altering their boredness, but are too lazy to take any real action. In the hard moments, Scorpio will place blame on innocent bystanders, but overall their summer will remain boring and inactive.

Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 21):

Sagittarians may be the only signs that have remained optimistic for practically the entire duration of the past couple months. This has helped the other people in their lives, however Sagittarius is still restless like everyone else. Their wall of optimistic thoughts will fall, brick by brick this summer, until they are no longer their normal selves. Time to take action to prevent this inevitable fate.

Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19):

What a goat. All of the other signs see the ambitious Capricorn out helping the community, trying to fulfill both their personal responsibility, and social responsibility. However, Capricorn’s naturally insecure nature has in fact been dragging them deep underwater, slowly sinking to the bottom of their ambition and intentions. During the summertime, their swimmers legs will return and help pull them to the top, where they will coexist with the clear, blue water.

Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18):

Aquarians have struggled especially during shelter in place. They can no longer secretly enjoy social interaction at school, their sense of emotional detachment growing and growing expansively. They may still feel confident in what they say, but their actions are unguided and dangerous. This summer will be no different, except that opportunities to once again tread on an even path will slowly, but surely return.

Pisces (Feb 19-Mar 20):

Throughout this time, Pisces has coped. Not particularly well, not badly, just coped. This summer, though, they will start to get antsy and coping will get harder. The degree of ease is not their fault, but letting their coping mindset slip away is. They must take more effort to get out of the house at least once a day on a walk or drive, and it may get easier. Take little steps.
