Family Fun at California’s Great America

Find out how WinterFest is bringing the magic to you, with surprises and activities for everyone.  WinterFest is held at Great America in Santa Clara from Nov 29, 2024 – Jan 5, 2025. WinterFest holds a handful of magic for all ages to enjoy. It offers a variety of things to do from experience and activities, to live entertainment  and rides. Great America holds more than 60 rides all over the park. 

If you do not like rides, they also have so many more activities for you to enjoy. If you have younger kids, an amazing activity you could do is Santa’s workshop. Write him a letter and take the Skyride to deliver that letter personally. If you make your way over to Planet Snoopy they will be holding many activities and experiences  there. You can come help Charlie Brown and Linus pick out a Christmas tree. The search begins in a maze full of Christmas trees and lights everywhere  filled with holiday surprises throughout the whole time. Keeping up with the Christmas spirit, at Charlie Brown Christmas Town, Sally has set up her own special section in the park for everyone to enjoy the holidays. She is inviting all children under 12 to create special memories to take back home.

You can create an ornament or a special greeting card at no additional cost. WinterFest also offers other activities that do cost an additional fee, like Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen. Santa’s wife invites you to decorate four delicious cookies located at Orleans Plaza. Santa is also at Hometown Square greeting people and taking photos with them. If you want to skate on the smoothest ice, you can head over to Snowflake Plaza to ice skate under the shining lights. WinterFest is an unforgettable fun experience that brings people together.
